Nature Education Centre at the Wetland
The Nature Education Centre (NEC) can be found on the Urrbrae Education Campus, alongside the Urrbrae Wetland and Urrbrae Farm.
The NEC is open from 1:30pm - 5:30pm Monday - Saturday for loans and purchases.
- Closed Sunday and Public Holidays
- Hours are flexible for school excursions.

This offers the wonderful opportunity to incoporate a joint visit to the Urrbrae Wetland and Nature Education Centre where the students can interact with a variety of native animals and preserved specimens.
The NEC Education Officer, will work with the Wetland Manager to tailor a program specific to the learning needs of each group, whether it be a focus on habitats, adaptations, life cycles or general ecology. Students will also learn how to handle wildlife and the food and care they need in captivity.

NEC = $150.00 per class group (maximum 30 students per group).
Wetland = $5.00 (plus GST) per student (when booking the NEC as well).
